My UVB bulb is brand new. A little over a week. As far as calcium supplements I am using Repti Calcium without D3 every day, Repti Calcium with D3 Once every other week and A Vitamin Supplement once a week. I'll take another picture of his leg and post it in a little bit.
Alright, I'll go buy a new bulb and up his basking temperature! And not that I would think of, I live alone so theres not a lot going on, its nice and quiet usually. I feel like I've thought about every possible thing that could be stressing him out and nothing comes to mind. I just wanna make...
Hey everyone, I have a little male veiled (not sure on age exactly) and he seems to be extremely dark in his cage, almost black sometimes. His basking spot is about 85 degrees give or take and the lowest temp in the cage is about 70. He moves about freely and is eating and drinking like normal...
Yes! I have a uvb light and a separate bulb for basking. I dust feeders with D3 free calcium most of the week and I dust with vitamins about once a week. I was thinking about starting to give him some veggies as well. Any recommendations? Also, based on the pictures how old would you guess he...
Hey everyone, I became the proud new owner of a little male veiled about two weeks ago! I'm not sure exactly how old he is and he's still settling in a little but I wanted to post some pictures of the little fella and get some comments/suggestions! Just want to make sure he looks healthy cause I...
I did! I turned the water on just lukewarm and and sprayed it so it was hitting the wall of the shower and bouncing off and i stuck a plant and some branches in there and he just cruised through, in and out of the water. He loved it! :)
Gave him a little shower! He loved the water and he seems much happier! Looks like that did the trick. But I'll look into the shedding aid as well!
Thanks!
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help! I'm so excited to have him and I just wanna make sure he's as comfortable as possible. I'm definitely finding out Titan is a sassy little guy!
He's about five months, the temp of his basking area is about 85 degrees, but he definitely moves around freely and goes down lower in his cage so I assume he's smart enough to move around till he's comfortable. He also started shedding yesterday, could that be making a difference as well?
Hey everyone, so I recently got a veiled cham and he's started to shed a bit. Is it normal for him to have his mouth open just because of discomfort? I'm just a worry wart and want to make sure there might not be anything else wrong with the little fella. Thanks!
I just got a little veiled cham! He's been eating and drinking, which is good, but he seems to be really dark! I checked the temp in his cage and everything seems to be good. But this morning i took him out for a bit and he almost immediately lightened up, any suggestions as to why he's so dark...
