What makes you say she is dehydrated? I have a mistking set to mist her cage every couple hours, normally she drinks from that. I have not seen her drink today but I have not been starring at her all day so it is possible she drank when I simply was not around to witness it.
My female Veiled just produced about 60 infertile eggs! She is my first female cham so I was unaware that she was gravid so I had not given her a laying bin for her eggs. However, just last night I found her on the floor of her cage and found all her eggs. I removed all of her eggs already, gave...
Chameleon: Female Veiled Chameleon, cared for 5 months, ~9-11months old
Handling: Rarely handle since she tries to bite. Try to take her out of her cage at least 2-4 times a month.
Feeding: ~10 medium crickets a day, ~1-2 superworms a week, have tried veggies but she wont eat them

Pet store had no idea how old she was but I have had her for about 5 months now, so I want to make an educated guess that she is close to a year old. She is my first female Veiled so I am unfamiliar with how to take care of her if she is in fact gravid. Is that white stuff on her nose normal?
I found her this morning at the bottom of her cage. Her color is looking grayish/purple while her nose looks closed up. Please look at the picture to see what she looks like right now.
I have had Zilla for about 4 months now and I just want to make sure that I am doing everything ok. She is my first Chameleon so I want to make sure she is healthy and happy.
-She is a female Veiled Chameleon (approximately 7-9months)
-Have a mistking to water her 4 times a day for two minute...
Thanks so much! That makes me feel much better about leaving her over the weekends. WIth a dropper running and my DIY rain system I think she will be fine over the weekends. Appreciate all the help you guys and getting this chameleon beginner acclimated.
She is a 3-5month old femail Veiled Chameleon. I never really see her drink water after a misting but I know her urate is white so she must be drinking when I am simply not looking.
Last weekend I left her with a dripper and some crickets/mealworms with veggies at the bottom of her cage so crickets have something to eat. When I came back Monday she seemed perfectly fine and her urate is still white so I do not think there was any dehydration issues. Will this become an...
So I have a pet chameleon in my classroom (I'm a Biology teacher) a student gave me because she no longer can take care of her. I have ready everything about Chams and I am sure I have everything set up correctly and my cham has been healthy and happy for a couple months now. My question is if...
Thanks everyone for the help!! So two last questions. Petstores dont seem to sell Calcium without D3, any suggestions of a specific brand or product I might jsut be able to buy online? Also, what can I do to keep up the humidity? It is an open enclosure so anytime I mist it, the water evaporates...
Hello, I am new to Veiled Chameleons. A student gave me her Veiled chameleon because she no longer could take care of him. I had him for a month and everything seemed fine, but one day he suddenly got sick (lethargic, weak feet, wouldn't eat, heavy breathing) so I rushed him to the vet and the...
