What exactly do the early symptoms for mbd look like? Im pretty sure my cham is fine, hes very active and everything, this is not a question about him, but i was just wondering exactly what would it look like if a chameleon had mbd.
My cham keeps climbing down and around on his vines, then up the screen, onto the top upside down, and then back onto his basking spot and hes been doing that all day, should i be concerned?
So today i noticed a good number of small flying bugs in my cricket enclosure, they looked to be a little larger than gnats. Any body have any ideas as to what they could be? and are they bad? this is the first time ive seen these in my cricket box.
Just been doing some thinking and some research about free ranging for the future. I dont have many options to hang any lighting so im wondering if there are any bulbs that i can use for both basking and uvb in one. And if you would like to share photos of what your free ranges look like that...
So i am being very very very patience with Ganymede, I hand feed him everyday which he doesnt have a problem with for the first two or three crickets, but then i think he realizes what hes doing and he gets pissed and then will only eat if i let the cricket go near him and he will eat it on his...
He is eating between 5-10 dusted crickets and a few mealworms, i usually hand feed him around lunch time, so around noon. and i leave a few roamers in the cage that he eats all of them through the rest of the day. I dont feed him after about 5-6 because his lights go off at 9 and i know he needs...
My new veiled seems to be in good health, has a very good appetite. No problem hand feeding, cup feeding, or hunting the free roamers. he does still seem a little stressed out by me, he puffs up a little bit and makes a little noise and turns slightly striped black. I hand feed him every day...
I have a male veiled chameleon, 3 months old (estimated by users on this forum)
My room, where im keeping him, stays fairly warm-ish between 70-75, at night i sleep with my cieling fan on (thats the only time it is on usually) is it okay for my cieling fan to be on? I cant sleep without it on...
So I got my veiled today, i just wanted to share a photo, i still havent thought of a name. he seems pretty good so far, hes already eaten and has been drinking. I hand fed him and he ate right away with no problems. I got him from a reptile expo. I would like to know about how old he looks if...
Thanks everyone who helped and I think ill just go with the MistKing! Ill be starting Cosmetology school next month and ill will be gone most of the day and i dont want to chance any kind of technical issues that could possibly come with the monsoon. I will be at a reptile show this weekend, is...
Okay, my only issue is that the system i choose needs to be aesthetically pleasing, as that is VERY important to me. I have limited space and no room for a lot clutter. So is there a system that can be aesthetically pleasing and functional?
I have seen so many conflicting reviews about the Monsoon and while ive seen nothing but good reviews about the mistking, I need some honest reviews. I am trying to be as cost effective as possible while shopping for my setup equipment. I want to know if you have used the monsoon and had...
