Well not so good. I have not been able to get her to eat for three days. So just refuses to eat, she is not even interested in the food. I have butterworms, crickets, and gloiath worms for her. She still keeps her eyes closed most of the time even though she is getting plenty of water. Currently...
well these are the best that I can do. There is a picture and if I can figure out how to put on a video I will.
She has started to shed and I am hoping that the shed will help her out, but I dont know. It is more then just a white area, it is looks and feels like a bump.
Do the pictures...
well i got the humidity up to 60+ and i have been giving her more water via a spray bottle. But she is still keeping her eye shut most of the time. can I tell if shw is dehydrated by her feces? What exactly would I be looking for.
Also I have some other food that is coming soon; butterworms...
The UVB is up and running.
The humidity has been around 45-55% I will try to get it higher. I have a hot humidifier, should I start to use that?
As far as a vet goes. We have one, but he really is not all that good. He works with cats dogs pigs cows horses and those kind of things. Plus he is...
I am looking to switch up the diet of my chameleon. Does any one know of a good insect seller that is near the pacific nw? Preferably not too expensive.
Okay so I have her UVB light set up again. it is running with the sun. Also I have been giving her calcium with her crickets. As for water I am spraying the cage multiple times a day, as often as I can being a full time worker and full time college senior. She is a little more active, but still...
Hey all I am hoping that you can help me out with my chameleon. Here is what I can tell you.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - See picture. Homemade of wood and wire mesh. Rather large for her, about 4' tall.
Lighting - She is next to a east facing window so she gets the morning rays. And has a...
So ive been wondering about my chameleon lately, she has been shooting her tongue at absolutly nothing...a lot. She is blind in one eye, this would lead me to think that she has no depth perception but are chameleons really that dumb that if she sees a tack on the wall fifteen feet away from her...
Has anyone ever had a problem with their chameleons tongue not sticking to their prey. I have a female panther chameleon that is about 2.5 years old. And lately she has had a lot of trouble with catching her food. She aims right on, but when it hits, her tongue moves the prey out of the way and...
My Female nosy be panther just laided fer second batch of eggs. her first batch was on september 13th and she had 24 eggs. I have not counted how many she had on this new batch yet. Does about three months sound about right inbetween egg layings? Maybe i am feeding her too much?
From what i have heard is that the horn worms i ordered from mullberry farms should turn into moths, but do i need to do anything special?
In the last batch that i had none of them began their pupate stage. They got real big and walked around the bottom for a bit, but then they just died. Is...

I have taken her to the vet, this was when her eye was looking a little "fuzzy/not clear" at that time she was having the shooting problem. The vet thought that it was not her eye that was the problem and that it might be a problem with a nerve coming from the tongue to the brain or vise-versa...
I use "Reptivite: reptile vitamins" from zoo meds once every week
I also use "2:0 calcium/no phosphorus powdered supplement with vitamins twicw a week.
She is aiming very poorly. And the container that she is fed from is a solid color.
