I suffer from eczema on my hands and I have noticed that Tilly my veiled quite happily causes a flare up with her needle type claws. Like you say a "death grip"!! The only thing that calms it down is the steroid cream I use for the normal eczema. The rash she gives me looks just like your...
Tilly my veiled female absolutely loves me. Right from day one. All she wants to do is sit on my shoulder and should I attempt to suggest she goes back in her enclosure, she will scoot half way down my back. Crafty girl knows there is nothing I can do to get her off!!!
Charlie my Nosy Be...
Yep, I've got reptibreeze too ..So awkward though trying to fix branches to the sides.
But, oh the joy, found Repashy in the UK after reading about it here. Never did find cricket crack though!!
I know, the things that can be got in America and not here, makes me real jealous at times. And, I have two chameleons. O dear who would get the dragonstrand even if I could get one
I think Karen meant calcium without D3 every feeding.
Dragon Strand is a brilliant make of chameleon cage. I'm in the UK too and if they would send them here, it would cost an arm and leg with postage and import duty. I so want one though !!

Roll on April :)

Glad you have gone for a mesh screen cage. Is it the reptibreeze?
I am in the UK too and have a veiled chameleon. I have no problem with providing enough heat and also have a Mistking which takes care of the humidity. Being a screen cage it allows for drying in between and plenty of air...
I have had same problem, the 60 watt bulb just isn't enough. I've bought a 75 watt and a 100 watt, arriving tomorrow so will be trying them out to see which is best.
Thank you all for the welcome :)
Would you believe I forgot to ask exactly how old she was, I did know she would be young and female. The locusts are tiny and would probably just cover the gap between her eyes. Now the wax worm looked small until I put it into her enclosure and then that...
So she arrived yesterday and I was all prepared to give her space to let her settle down. Was worried she would be stressed after her journey here. First thing she did was arrive at 5.30am and got us out of bed ;)
So I carefully unpacked her and took the lid off her container. She climbed...
