I am having the same problem with the water, I did the same thing with trapping the water. I think you and others are right with it being too hot, I have made adjustments to Alduin's lighting. Thank you for the link!
The problem is the cage is chameleon proof but not cricket proof. The first time I fed him I released 20 small crickets in his habitat, he ate 3 and the rest climbed out. I even found some in my laundry room downstairs! Because of this is why I went to cup feeding, also to try to get him more...
I treated the wood with several waterproof coating, it still needs some adjusting but it works pretty well. I have the vent on top of the cage and a mesh strip on the side for airflow. I love this little guy :] (RIP little dood 3: )
So glad you got Kelingra! I love that series. After researching it does seem like Flucker's is a poor feeding method for the crickets. I will change their food soon, thank you.
I may get rid of the light, my room is not that cold. Is the Flucker's not good for gut loading the crickets? On that subject, can I feed Alduin fruits and vegetables?
I hope the Reptirain doesn't give out on me 3: I will keep the Mistking in mind if it does happen. I offer him 5 crickets every time I cup feed him, he usually picks 2 maybe 3 and then loses interest.
I picked up the hydroballs because I was nervous about maintaining the humidity. An employee at a pet store convinced me to buy them. Aludin rarely goes to the bottom but I do like the idea of more plants.
The Reptirain works fine, the only complaint I have is that you cannot change the pressure of the mist. The mist hits two crossing vines at the top mostly, the water trickles down the leave to cover the rest. If anything his basking spot is missed.
Chameleon Info: Alduin the World Eater aka Al
Chameleon- Male, have own since February 28th,2017.
Handling- Mainly during feeding time, sometimes for 10 minutes every three days.
Feeding- He usually eats 3 small crickets every time I cup feed him (2 when I feed him meal-worms). I use Flucker's...
Thank you for the tips everyone! I will post a detailed list of what I use for the little guy soon.
I removed the substrate and added live plants, he seems to enjoy it

Hello!
I have recently adopted a new friend and I can use some tips and opinions.
I will start with the fact that I do not know if it is a boy or a girl. If someone can tell me so I can finally give him/her a name I would really appreciate it. I have been calling it Noname.
