    Sunken eyes, pale skin, lethargic

I was hoping someone could help me, I have a male panther chameleon I bought a few months ago he is almost 3 years of age. I have him in a 2×2×4 ft screen cage with an automatic mister that sprays once an hour for 15 seconds, but I live in Arizona so I hand mist before and after school and at...

    Tail Rot?

When I first bought my female nosy be panther her tail looked like this but only on the bottom 1/4th. I monitored it and it did not change. Eventually, it just went away, her tail still has dents in it where the black was but she never lost movements or feeling in it. Does their tail regain full...

    Help! chameleon eggs popping

I definitely could be wrong but I thought you were not supposed to remove the eggs nor roll them AT ALL, I have heard that their yolk could crush them when it rolls and kill them.

    Possible Eggs

My Jupiter was with a male a few months ago but now has what looks to be eggs in her stomach, she has a lay bin in her tank and has been eating regularly as well as drinking, but is that what I am really seeing? The shape seems to suggest it but I have never heard of being able to see the eggs...

    In memoriam: Peaches

She did not show her usual sign of eggs, she laid when I first got her in December, an infertile clutch, but I am going to do an autopsy to check. If not it could be parasites, luckily her tank was farthest from the others so the likelihood of a spread is minimal. As well with a possible clutch...

    In memoriam: Peaches

I just got her from Predator's Reptile center in Arizona on December 17th, she passed away this morning, January 27th. There was no sign of sickness, or anything wrong for that matter. Terribly broken hearted, taking all 6 others to the vet just in case.

    Help sex new baby

The first baby ambilobe panther hatched last night and I've heard if you're skilled enough you can tell the gender this early, I think Hercules is a male but can someone more experienced look? I circled what I think is his tiny bumb on his tail. Also, does anyone know what the sack is? I've...

    Egg ready to hatch?

One of my clutches has an egg that I think might hatch soon, the middle left one but this is my first clutch so I'm not sure. The eggs are not yellow, this picture makes them look like it though. Although the one that is (I think) sweating does have a light yellow tint that showed up this morning

    Closed eye

When I first got them there was feces on the bottom of their tank, a layer about a millimeter thick and I immediately cleaned the bottom of the tank with reptile safe cleaner to kill bacteria and then covered the bottom with the reptile carpet stuff. However, I performed an initial fecal exam on...

    Closed eye

The only thing wrong with mine is the eye issue, it does not seem to cause her any pain at all, she is still active and other than the eye she is healthy. She has a vivacious appetite because she was underfed when I got her and you could kind of see her bones so I am trying to fix that. I have a...

As soon as I can get a fresh sample I'm going to perform a fecal exam to see if it could be a manifestation of a parasite

    Closed eye

Since I got her, a leaf in the eye feeding could not be possible because while I do cup feed, I watch them eat and they almost always eat it all and then I remove the cup. Normally that is the only feeders they get because that is just about everything offered by every pet shop near me that is...

Chameleon Info: Your Chameleon - Female Ambilobe Panther Chameleon, 1.5 years, I have had her for almost 2 weeks Handling - I have only handled her twice since I got her and once was taking her home, although I am in her tank daily to feed her, but I just place a cup of feeders in the bottom of...

    Shy Chameleon

My chameleons have started to associate me with food and water, try figuring out what her favorite food is and then getting her to eat it and then eventually take it from you and keeping a regular feeding schedule. The more you feed at the same time, the more she associated you with things she...

Kodak is going on a Field Trip!

Personally, my chameleons live at school and are used to regular excursions, but I would not suggest this for others. I keep this to a minimum even for them and only transport them home and back to school for breaks. My chameleons are not particularly affected by this since they were raised this...
