    Every time I try to get close he closes his mouth! I have a (very poor quality, through the screen) picture here. I can try to get another (it's night time for him now). Thank you guys so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

    Maybe a minute or so at a time, then he'll close his mouth and open it a bit later. Respiratory infection is what I was worried about. Any other indicators? He seems really healthy otherwise.

    Thank you! It's just a tiny little dark dot right about where is left rear leg meets his body. I figure its probably nothing to worry about but this is my first chameleon so I'm extra uptight.
