I think your fine leaving them as they are, they turn into adults in a matter of hours and will go brown as the shell hardens.

White just means they shed their exoskeleton and they are turning into adults,they should turn brown within hours.

Pretty sure that is a Brown Leaf Chameleon or Brookesia superciliaris although the spine looks somewhat different in your pic so this is just a guess. I think you got it right i just looked up a pic of Brookesia Peramata and thats pretty spot on.
