I second the possibility that he is gaining confidence as he is getting older. It's very typical behavior. Babies tended to cower and sub-adults/adults tend to puff up -- all signs of a scared chameleon. I would try cup feeding every time you feed them treat bugs so they can associate you with...
I reached out to the company and they said the code only works for non-cling on backgrounds but that type of background would still work for a glass enclosure!
Is the basking temp of 85-88 the temperature of the branch or the temp of his body under the bulb?
Chameleons are slow healers so it’ll take quite some time and a few sheds for that to scar and heal.
I'm literally tearing up reading this 💚
Thank you for the nomination and award — it is truly so special to be apart of this community. The amount of love and time we pour into helping chameleons and keepers alike is so incredibly rewarding. Not everyone understands why we do what we do, until...

And thank you so much everyone! It was a bumpy journey to start out, but hopefully it's smooth sailing from here.
It finally happened! I successfully bred my panther chameleons, Neptune and Venus, and am expecting my first fertile clutch. I documented the whole process and am sharing with you everything that happened from breeding to egg laying.
That's so funny! I guess that makes sense if they enjoy eating sweet fruits as treats.
