Yeah it’s like a lotion that gets applied to people to treat infections, I read in this forum to use it every three days on chams in case it’s an infection. I’m starting to think it’s some kind of burnt skin tho, it isn’t bumpy, it’s just a discoloration.
I don’t think so, my vet said it’s good for him since it’s full of nutrients, Just in case I cut them for a while, I’m applying some Pomadona/betadine on the zones with marks, and I think it’s helping, since the spots are now faded. I’n waiting for him to shed.

Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Once or twice a week as he’s already used to me. However since I have...
Yeah I don’t think so either but I hope it’s nothing too bad, I just spent a lot of money on his new cage and new stuff and I don’t think I can take him to the vet anytime soon so if you guys have any advice on what I can do, I’ll appreciate it. Sometimes I think it is a burn mark because his...
Thank you so much for helping, don’t worry, feel free to ask. And no there’s not a raised bit nor any bumps on him. It’s more like a discoloration? Don’t know why though. And yes lamb’s lettuce. I’m waiting for him to shed to see if it goes off or not. I will start saving up for the next visit...

@kinyonga I took some pics right now when he was sitting on me, one of his eyes is damaged I think. Oh yeah I also mist his cage 3 times a day and let the humidity get to 100 at night.
This is his eye, when he opens it, he’s keeping it closed a lot of time.
And the spots on his back are weird...
He lost weight the 5 days he didn’t eat but he is gaining it again, I am getting him silk worms today. His tongue is getting better slowly and the Vitamin A I stopped using it months ago. His bulb is an Exo Terra Hallogen bulb, 125 watts, and the maximum temperature is 30°C, I have natural...
@kinyonga
Yes he was burnt on the casque and it bent when he had mbd, his vet says everything is fine now and now he´s eating again as much as before, I´m mainly worried about the spots on the back, I´ll get another picture later, he is as active as before.
So, Conway’s 8 months old already but he hasn’t shed in a while. I got the rain system and stuff and I also spray manually so he can have water drops to drink from.
However, he’s grown these white spots all over his back. Could he be dying? I’m kinda worried about it as I heard chameleons turn...
I usually stay with him outside for an hour more or less, would that be okay? At the moment, I moved him to his new terrarium and I have a T8 5.0 I had lying around home while I wait to get the 2 in 1, I just need to get paid but I think I may have a chance to get it tonight.
She did suggest the T5 but she’s aware it’s really difficult to find them in my area. And again, when you do find them, it’s either them being sold too expensive or the ballast not being strong enough for the bulb.
Yeah! I take him outside every morning, as I don’t have an outside plant, he just sits on my arm and basks while I read or check my phone. He’s gotten that used to me. About the T5, it’s REALLY difficult to find the fixtures and the bulbs in my zone and when you do, they’re sold for the same...
My vet has kept chameleons for years and they lived for more than 7 years, maximum 9 and one of them 10, she’s always used a 2 in 1 or a compact plus a heat bulb. More than a vet, she has a title that claims she’s a doctor in this “area” but I forgot what the name is in english. The bulb she...
Ayo!
I’ve been looking to buy this thing that allows you to lift the bulb closer or more far from the enclosure, however, I don’t think that’ll be an issue, but if I don’t happen to get used to the 2 in 1 I’ll most likely switch to the compact bulb she recommended and a heat bulb, which I...
Okok hello! Sorry for not posting lol I always forget. But we took Jack to his first veterinary visit and he’s all good. Apparently he’s suffered from MBD as a baby, and the hole in his casque is a burn bark he got in his previous home as well. This time I also informed myself on more about...
Ok so after a lot of research, I found out my Exo Terra multivitamin doesn’t have vitamin A, yet, it HAS vitamin D3.
What can I do?
I was suggested to get Vitamin A capsules and put a small drop on a cricket but how often should I do this? Twice a month?
Also,
Should I continue using this...
