Hi! The probe to the thermometer is actually right under the basking spot.

He can get as close as 3-4 inches from the UVB bulb if he needs to. I do not believe the branches are too far away from that light

Yes I am looking for something to put it on to raise it. And it’s about 8 inches or so from the “hot spot”.

Thank you for the quick response! I will for sure be replacing the thinner branches as he gets a little size to him. I also just put the plastic plant in there for now to add a little extra coverage but I will replace with live plants!
