After alot of fustration about my guys water intake he finally "learned" to drink from misting. It was great seeing him finally open his mouth to drink. The pet store where I bought him from only had standing water for him so maybe he was'nt used to misting? Possible? Hes also using his dripper...
I tried the shower tonight beacuse Im worried about dehydration and want to get a shower into a weekly schedule, He really seemes to dislike being out of his cage, I might try a diffirent technique next time, any suggestions?
Thanks for the advice:) , I also do mist several times a day but didnt put that in the org. post. I think Im going to try a shower this weekend, Ive got to come up with a good artificial plant rig before I try though, Ill post pics when I get it done.
I use the same PVC setup and it runs on a timer 3 times a day, 5-7am 1130-2pm, and 6-7pm, I just tried to space the times out in order to keep the humidity up through a 24 hour period. It also keeps some water drops on my plants all day.
