No they can't. Cuz then **I** would freeze 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Heating questions

Actually those temps are specifically a range I get in his sleeping area. Up top is typically a couple degrees higher and low is nearly the same. But this may change in the summer when the AC is on since the top part is getting hit by AC before the bottom since I have forced air in my ceiling...

    Heating questions

Yes good point! I always keep a second thermometer right next to this probe so that I always know that temp is actually accurate. I'm paranoid like that 🙃

    Weird Chameleon Activity

I wanted to say this, but in a funnier, slightly less appropriate way but I didn't want to look dumb by being wrong. This is 100% exactly what I was thinking when he described the head bobbing and what I saw in the video :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    Heating questions

You should get a heating lamp that comes with it's own probe thermometer so you can set it to maintain the exact temperature you want it to be. This is the one I use. I highly recommend it. Affordable, easy to use, and it flat out works. Use something like this and you never have to worry...

5 month old sambava male or female?!

Relax. These people are just trying to help you, and the reason they suggested you rehome her is because your tone clearly suggests you do not care for her. Which is fine. I totally get it. I'd be beyond mad if someone sent me a female incorrectly and they weren't willing to take her back...

    That's it Spike is grounded

I wouldn't think that would work considering the duct tape would have to be applied from the nozzles to just the screen so I think zip ties or fishing string is gonna work best for this. I also would hesitate to put duct tape in the enclosure, but thank you :)

    Dehydrated help!

I think you should ask someone with a bit more experience on that if you feel she is in fact dehydrated. I don't know how to answer because I think it really depends to be honest. Especially since she is female, I believe you want to be careful how much you feed her. IMO, I would look into...

    Caught Herbie sleeping again… help!

It seems like this has been going on for a while.... I apologize if you went over this already but just in case (I don't have time right now to go through the entire thread, I am so sorry lol); How dark is his night time area? If he's going down into his enclosure to 'rest' for the day until...

    Dehydrated help!

I think the answer here is clear: Although your daytime humidity is kinda on the higher side (but fine), your night time humidity is not high enough. I shoot for around 85-95% (80-100% is recommended). What does your actual misting/fogging schedule look like? Keep in mind that short bursts...

    That's it Spike is grounded

Look at this dude. He won't leave the darn mister nozzles alone! Now he has one of them positioned to just squirt water directly out of the enclosure 😭 At least I'll be home well before it's timed to turn on lol This is the only issue I've had with these nozzles so far. I might...

Need Some Help Regarding Humidity Level

Without getting into specifics till we truly know your chameleon, I'd like to personally suggest the use of wifi/blue tooth thermometer/hygrometers. Yes, normal digital probes work fine. But they typically can only tell you the temp/humidity when you are looking at it. Whereas wifi/blue tooth...
