Thank you! I feel like last time she acted crazy all the way until she laid.
I’ll start getting the smaller feeders for her, next month I plan on cutting her back on a feeding because she will be about 1yr I think.
Should I keep the cover half on for a few more weeks? I logged that she started...
Not that long ago (end of December) my girl was acting crazy like she was receptive again. She is normal acting now. Pudgy like she has eggs in her. This would be her second clutch. I haven’t changed her feedings, currently 3 large dubia every other day, calcium every time and multi every two...
A lot of people were and still are overfeeding like 20-30 bugs a day based on those Facebook group recommendations. So a lot of dragons we see are overweight.
There was a lot of whining when dr Howard said we need to feed less and grow slower, some aren’t even changing to his new recommendations.
According to my girl those are danger dots. Mine did it randomly sometimes a little while before being receptive. Doesn’t mean that’s the same case for you, just what mine did.
Edited: mine actually did it recently because I tried to give her a horn worm with calcium on it and apparently in...
Yeah, she really thought she could break through😂
Someone posted a picture of theirs on the Facebook group and it was ultra mad with all black and then the spots like the picture of Gravid ones. So pretty.
Update on the chin. It got pretty black yesterday but has lightened up a lot this morning. Still no scale loss. I don’t think she will try it again. But who knows😂
I cut back food to every other day about 2 weeks before the last clutch. Hoping it’s less this time. I figured out her hatch date to be in about February and was going to go to every 3 days feeding then. Does that sound okay?
I just use tap water that I’ve let sit out for a while, but it runs through all the plants in there too. Also the color of the hydrangea could change based on the pH level of the soil. I did miracle grow on it a couple times and it started turning pink😂
Maybe I’ll have to buy another hydrangea...
