I had seen someone else's post recently where there was a ridge along the side of the spine, wanted to make sure that was nothing of concern. I think it was a post on a FB group. Our daytime humidity is around 60, don't know how to get it lower. We live in South Carolina. I got him in August...
We've been struggling to get the daytime humidity under 60%, night time I mist before bed (after lights out) and before lights on. I ordered an automatic mister online but it isn't remembering the settings (as it claimed it would) thus not coming on through the night. It almost seems like his...
Just wanted to check in and see if theb sides of his spine look normal or showing signs of gout? He's gone through a period of sometimes sleeping during the day, then other days looking totally fine!
TIA!
Ok thanks. I just talked to the previous cage owner and they had a cham, not panther, and said it had some type of eye issue and ended up going blind but they weren't sure what caused it. Any idea? Cage is set up. And baby moved in yesterday! I didn't see this response in time, now I'm worried.

thank you!
Where can you find regular incandescent bulbs? I haven't been able to find any. I have a 40 watt reptibasking I'm about to purchase. Picking up a bigger badge for him today, right now he's in the nano still
3 month old panther cham baby, all along been told it was a female but it's gular (throat) and armpit area is bright bright red and the circles turn bright green... could it possibly be a less obvious male or is this normal coloration for females?
TIA!
Ok thank you! I removed one side and dropped the house temp a bit as well. It is a 6% Arcadia bulb, I raised the top branches to between 8 and 9 inches, also slid the light back as it looks line it had migrated forward over time rather than being centered on cage. Thank you for your help! I...
Ok thanks! I have natural branches from outside that I am going to sanitize and use instead. I have the 5 or 6% jungle uvb, it is the highly recommended one I can't remember off hand but it's relatively new. About 11 and half inches from light to vine.
If it's at 70%, could that be why he's...
