Thanks for your feedback. Just to be clear, I am not holding this little dude almost ever; only to weigh him once a week. I'm not trying to play with him or anything. I understand chameleons are to be left alone, especially veiled chams.

Noooo! So sorry to hear this. What a life he lived, though.

I mean, the roachies are smaller than my pinky fingernail. And I bite my nails, so those are pretty small. But the crickets vary in size; they're never the tiny ones, even when I order them.

It's about 90% at bedtime after misting, and it goes down to 50% by lights-on. Is that ok? I seriously do not understand how he's putting on weight while not eating hardly anything. Maybe 3-5 bugs a day.

So what is the ideal humidity in the enclosure for night time, if temps are at 68F?
