Got it, I misunderstood the intention of the jungle dawns, I thought they were UVA/UVB. Will stick with the Arcardia T5 6%.

To clarify, are these LED versions not intended to replace the Arcadia T5 UVB fixtures as proposed to replace what I have now? That is what I was considering as I only have the single slot for a bar style fixture.

Since I'm ordering a new higher end fixture I'm curious on thoughts related to these Jungle Dawn LED options? I had considered them prior. Curious to get your take? I like the fact they may not need to be replaced like the tubes do and without a solarometer I'm not sure how to know when the...

Noted, I was wondering if the fixture was the correct type. I'm not sure it's viable to increase the size at this stage though as I'd need to recut the top cutout which may not be doable. I will measure and see but I'm concerned it may run into the support corners. Will get the T5 kit either way.

Odd, the product pictures all say T5 but I see now the actual item detail says T8. My existing fixture is T5.

Confirmed, the sides and front are glass and the back is alum composite. The top has aluminim screen under the lights and there are 4x air vents on the back, each 14"x6".
