*Reduced*
As I would really like for this guy to find the perfect home, I am reducing him to only $150 or $225 for all.
Please pm if interested. Thanks.
I bought this stunning Hold back Ambanja male from chameleons only about a month ago. He measures 8 or 9 inches and is 8 mths old. He is the sweetest guy and a very healthy eater and drinker. As much as I love him and he is perfection for a Panther Chameleon, we are always on the go and I will...
I so badly want one of these................ does anyone have one that they could part with or know of anywhere I could get one?? I understand they are very rare.......but I must try!! Thanks, Carrie
I really appreciate everyone posting... this is very informative and also neat to hear about your chameleons and sizing as well. I'm thinking 5 or 6 mths with what I'm hearing..? Just don't feel she was 5 mths when I got her, but more like 2 or 3.. Another nice thing about buying from a breeder...
Oh my goodness...........I just freaked!! Needless to say, they are "tube" style and not coil. I thought it was as I knew fancy bulb and I had just bought what everyone told me. So WHEW................we are good. :)
Our house is always freezing so I have the daylight bulb. What should the...
Thank you so much Jann and Brad for helping with her age also. I am really excited to see her growth process!
Graydon, I think I have proper lighting... She has the daily 5.0 UVB Tropical Repti Sun (coil) I was told is crucial.. Also the full spectrum Daylight Blue bulb from Zoo Med for...
Thanks Jannb for the welcome and the links.... I will definately check into them. From day one, I have made sure that she has the lighting and suppliments that she is supposed to have and I am going to redo her cage.
Great idea with the vet! Thank you.... I will see who we have in the...
Brand new to the Cham world, I couldn't help but fall in love with this girl for Christmas (from Petsmart) Found this forum and doing all I can to learn about her needs... and yes, she will be getting a "screen enclosure" with live plants this month also as I know that is important.
Here are...
Do the inches include the tail, or without? I am wondering how old my female veiled is and curious on length... Sorry if this has been posted already somewhere but didn't see. Thanks...
I have a pygmy and a juvenile veiled. I recently learned that it is best not to have substrate for the chameleons as they can ingest the substrate while feeding on crickets..that paper towels are sufficient. Is that the same for pygmys or would they need the substrate to be more at home on the...
Our dog has free range of the house, so well behaved, quiet and small. However, when I am in or at her cage for any reason, we keep him in the other room as I noticed the few times he has even been quietly in the room, she senses it. She does great otherwise.
Thanks, Shauna. I am learning so much here and understanding the very differences of personalities with chameleons. I will let her decide what kind of a relationship we have. :) I am thrilled to say that she is handfeeding with no problem each time though, very fun. She does tense and back off...
I understand, I am not insinuating in any way that they should be left without a home. I just know that I would be afraid to put my hands in a cage with some of the chameleons that I have heard about.
Thanks so much for the info...........that is so good to know as according to that Tizzy is very healthy as should be. The confusing part is that I lined her cage with paper towels on the bottom and there are areas of bright yellow when I change them...? Wierd but good.
Wow, thank you DJ Richey Rich!! Brock's commentary is amazing and I am going to follow that and see how it goes! :) I handfed her again today and she went after it immediately.........very encouraging!
Sorry, not trying to be a thread hog, but have these questions.......... why do you guys keep mean chameleons that attack you? ;) Just curious on different answers and feelings...
