thanks
mahalos for all your inputs. this last time i went in to buy crickets, i was being very friendly and i asked for 50 crickets, usually $8.50. but she scooped in like 200 of them for the same price! i was really stoked, cause this should last me for a month at least.
well..
how would the pet stores get them then? im paying 10 bucks for 50 crickets out here when i could be getting 1000 for the same price online.
ive been searching for an online store that would ship to hawaii but so far i cant find any. im not sure if it is a hawaii import customs thing or just a shipping thing. does anyone know or would anyone be willing to ship crickets out to me?
wood
ive got a homeade 2'x3' x 4' tall with a swinging door. it works great for me and gives me plenty of room to move around. check it out in my pictures.
cake
jacksons arnt too hard to take care of, ive been with my owner for a month now. he is a novice and hes doing a good job. just give us some crickets and spray down our leaves every day. a nice place to climb around is nice as well.
glass jars
my owner feeds me with a big olive jar with about 20 crickets inside. he holds the jar inside the cage with the opening toward my face, and i look inside, aim and munch!
it works good, cause the crickets cant climb out and if they jump, they just hit the top of the jar.
bon apetite!
love him
love him like your brother! make sure he gets plenty to eat, some sun after that, and spray his plany a few times a day so he stays hydrated.
also try not to handle him too much, i know its tempting!
wild things
yeah our kind live in the wild up at elevation in an area called olinda. i used to live up there but someone caught me and sold me to a pet store! now i live close to sea level on the drier side, but im enjoying the enironment! i get sprayed several times a day, and im in the shade...
