Hey guys, so I got my first panther this week, and while I'm not ready to work him up to this yet, I've got a nice spot by my computer with a ficus tree and a window that opens up to let direct sunlight shine in on it in the mornings.
I'm hoping to let the little dude out and have him get...
...and I think he likes it a lot :D

I picked up a ficus tree at a local greenhouse - the trunk is braided loosely so I could easily link it up to one of the vines in the cage. Next to it is a hibiscus and they're both sitting in a tub I got at Lowe's.
I noticed that he...

I've always thought this ficus was the best for chameleons, so when I saw them at Home Depot I grabbed one right away. It'll go in Leo's next cage which I plan to get in the next month or two. The tree is Ficus bennendijkii I believe and is similar to the benjamina except it has these long...
I have my male Rudis in a 16x16x30 screen cage with a pretty dense ficus. I want to move him into a cage that measure 13x16x24, as it seems it would be a more appropriate sized cage for him, and this cage will also be "fly proof", which his current cage is not. I want to transfer his ficus...
I found a Ficus. It is exactly 4 foot tall, same heigh as my cage. (see pictures)
After I repot it, I need to trim it. How much can I safely trim off the top and not kill the Ficus, and what method should I use?
Thank you in advance.
