10 Micron Sediment Filter

What type of water are you buying and how much per month are you spending?

The RO buddie (small 25gpd reverse osmosis system) is like 80 or so bucks and with the DI resin you add another 20. so for $100 you can have 0ppm tds (total disolved solids)vs the 400ppm or so a 10micron filter alone will get you.

Now with that being said any time you want to know water filtratuon quality you should invest in a TDS meter. they can be had for less than $15 on ebay or amazon.

I installed a 1 (one) micron sediment filter and brought my tap water from 750ppm down to 350ppm.

My RO/DI system that i have for my saltwater tank (and now my chameleon) puts out 000ppm.

So bottom line;

The return on investment of an RO/DI system would be about 6 months to a year. and you dont have to worry about running iut of clean water.
