13 and counting

alrite i have 13 new hatchlings (veiled) so far and this would be my first set. they all seem healthy maybe just a little on the "premi" side but all seem to be doing well. i am wondering when i should start implementing the calcium powder to the fruit flies?

You can start immed. I didn't wait to start dusting. Just try not too coat them to much.

When you say they are premi side, how long did it take them to hatch? Also, I would start dusting now, maybe waiting a week from the time they hatched.

it took them a full 8 months. but what i was doing up until 3 weeks ago was keeping them at 80 and dropping 10 degrees at nite. it was not until i was reading these forums that i found out everybody was leaving them constant. its also her very first batch.

8 Months is not premature at all, thats a pretty decent time. Good thing you were doing some research, now you know for next time! Good luck with the babies!
