Once you add the vines you ordered youll be good to go. Plenty of foliage to hide in for the new cham and the lighting you stated that you are getting will be good until the cham is ready to move into its adult cage.

Its not that nobody cares. Sometimes the forums get hit with a lot of new posts which circulates older ones down. All you need to do is bump the thread up to the top by posting a comment. Sometimes you get a response and other times you may need to bump it a couple times before you get a response.

I've been told that this plant i have is not good for the chameleon so i ordered a umbrella tree from lll reptiles is that information true?

Umbrella plants are very popular and do well in the enclosures. Im not a botanist so I have no clue what kind of plant you have in the photos above lol. Generally, people refer to the safe plant list on FLChams.com. If its on there, its verified to be safe.

Only reason I don't chime in , I'm new to the chameleon game. I will say this, there are lots of helpful resources on this site and umbrella plants are a great choice. What species of chameleon do you plan on getting?

Just got my plant from lll reptiles and i guess i will have to order a bigger one hahaha, anyway since I'm only buying the chameleon in 2 weeks let's see how big this babe can get till then

Just get an umbrella plant from a local nursery, they have larger sizes (I just saw a bunch at Home Depot and Lowe's). You can hang pothos from the top(they do really good), or buy a ficus tree as well. All readily available locally. I'm not a huge fan of ordering common plants on line. You need to physically see them to know how healthy they are.

My veiled is from FLChams. I highly recommend them for chameleons.

Some recommendations about the cage. Definitely pop your head in some local garden centers for a large umbrella plant. I just picked on up from Lowes for $13 and it filled the bottom half of my 24" x 24" x 48" cage. The other suggestion would be to add another climbing vine or two to give your little guy options when exploring.

The umbrella plant you have now probably wont fill out the cage in two week but by the time you are ready to move the cham into an adult sized cage it should be more than big enough or you can let it grow and use it as a small free range from time to time.

considering the size of my apartment i thought this cage size would be enough for a full grown chameleon and considering what ive been readind as well, do you think its not enough?

Still will want to have atleast a 24" x 24"x 48" for a female. Females will require a laying bin in the cage that is atleast 12 inches deep.

My veiled is about 11 months old and he was too cramped in the smaller cage which is the size you currently have. That cage is great for the baby chams but they grow quick lol. And honestly the larger cage doesnt take up too much room. Its worth it in my opinion. You can really make the bigger cages aesthetically pleasing if you arrange the plants and vines nicely.
