1st time reptile show

I'll be going to my first reptile show in Sacramento this Saturday. Is there anything I should know or be prepared for? Like, should I bring my critter keeper in case I pick up some bugs? Should I bring cash and how much do you usually spend? Also what is the best time to go in order to catch all the great deals? There is only 1 or 2 reptile shows in the bay area each year and I want to make the most of it.

anything you buy they will give you something to put it in.....also the best deals are usually the last day before closing....however the selection can be limited at this time.

I am no expert-but from my experience-be prepared to see lots and lots and lots and lots of snakes. If you have a daughter that wants snakes, be perpared to take one or more home. For the greatest selection-hit the door first thing the show opens, the good stuff goes fast. For best deals, hang out the last hour. Take only as much money as you want to spend, although I was usually going for specifics, but if you have no control you could be in trouble! Feeders are ususally the same prices you pay online. Some vendors will take credit cards, but many are cash only. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I am going to the Tampa show first thing Saturday morning to pick up my Nosy, or Nosy's...:)

I posted a thread on the Sacramento Show...on here last week. hmmm
We will be there Sunday...it's a long day/drive for us...and we can't make it Saturday...so I guess we will look at the stuff that didn't sell in the end.... I'm really not planning on buying anything...but you all know how that goes.
