2 cage setup question

I know if you have 2 cages next to each other you need something to block the view from each other but in a effort to maximize space in my new 4x8 room I built I was planning to have them at each wall facing each other which will make it about 4-6 feet apart depending on where they are sitting I am assuming that is still too close and need a divider of some kind or can I keep it open which I prefer to do so I can setup my osulating fan to simulate wind in the room

It's all going to depend on the chameleons. I have some enclosures about that far apart and if I have my panthers in there they flare and fire up all day. I had to switch them out with some Montium so they were not trying to intimidate each other all day. But like I said its all up to how your chameleons act. They may not even pay attention to each other.

It's not a good idea. I have all 3 of my cages side by side with dividers. However, when I take out my panther or veiled, and they can see into the other's cage from that distance they fire up. It's not worth the possible stress on your chams in my opinion.
