So I got two eggs in trade from a cham breeder friend for some roaches. It has been quite a long time since I have owned chams (about 9 or 10 years), I fell in love with geckos (I keep 7 species). My boyfriend has been dying for a chameleon and although I enjoyed having them geckos are really my obsession. Well it's been around 7 months of incubating (I actually got them back in Nov) and they hatched yesterday. I left them alone in their deli incubator for the night since they seemed weak (baby geckos have way more spunk!). Both were up and about crawling around this morning so I took them out, snapped a few pics, then put them in their new enclosure. So I am proud to introduce Mike & Ike, and if they are both females...well they will be still be Mike & Ike lol
This is Ike taken with a 55mm camera. Now usually I use this lense for most of my photography but on these tiny guys I realized after this pic, the better lense has to come out!
Now the rest of these pics (including Mike's) were taken with my 100mm lense.
