2 UVB strips?

I saw a post on here this morning where someone was using 2 uvb strips. Is there an advantage/disadvantage in doing this? When I upgraded to a larger enclosure I bought a new light of course that reaches the whole way across: https://www.reptilebasics.com/t5-light-fixtures-kits/t5-ho-single-bulb-light-strip-24/ https://www.reptilebasics.com/arcadia-forest-6-uvb/arcadia-d3-6-uvb-t5-bulb-22/
but I still have the small reptisun T5 hood with the 5.0 uvb that came with my smaller kit. Would it hurt to just put that one up there too?

UVB levels are UVB levels. As long as the levels dont get in the danger zone, you are fine. And you would even be making a UVB gradient which may help.

the long one is towards the front with the basking lamp in the middle. I would put the small strip on the other side of the basking lamo towards the back. She never sits back there but I'm thinking it might be too dark there.
How do you measure whether the uvb levels are too high? is it the kind of bulb you're using?
