I recently found out I was pregnant and I'm afraid I will not have the time to care for my chams once the baby is here. I am already finding it difficult to feed and water them in the morning before work, and I can't see that getting better if you know what I mean. I think it would be better for THEM if I could find them a good home.

I have had my chams since 2005 and I am really attached to them. "Bob" is my male and "Phyllis" is my female. Bob was born about 7/05 and Phyllis about 10/05 so they are a bit older. Neither one is really friendly, but they aren't bad for veileds. Bob will hiss and I usually use a towel to get him out of his cage (he would probably bite if I gave him the chance).

They are housed separately in large screen enclosures. I have let them breed 2 or 3 times but quit when Bob bit Phyllis when she was trying to get away (after the deed was done). Bob would GLADLY be a breeder he just has a hard time letting go when its all over.

I would prefer not to have to ship them, and I would like someone that already has some experience with chams. I live in Western Washington and I am willing to drive a bit if needed. I am due in August, but if I can't find someone by then I will just keep them and do my best.

Please reply if interested,
Chelsey

It may take a day or two but you will find them a great home. Congrats on the baby. I would live to take your chams but I am in Montana. Hang in there.:)

Where in WA are you located? I may know someone interested in one of them if you will adopt them out separately. What are you asking for an adoption fee?

no adoption fee unless they want the cages. I don't mind adopting them out separately. They are never together anyway. I really want someone with experience though.

CONGRATS !!!!!!!! DO YOU KNOW IF ITS A VEILED OR PANTHER:eek::eek::ee HAHA BUT SERIOUSLY GOOD LUCK HOPE YOU FIND THEM A GOOD HOME !:D
