I recently acquired a 3 yr old male chameleon, from his second home, his first home was not a good environment for him, the children in the house weren't very nice to him, tapping on his enclosure, poking at him, to the point where he puffs up, then makes himself very skinny. His second home had small children also, he was placed in their playroom where the 2 yr old was constantly tapping on his glass, being rambunctious around the enclosure, again making him off up, then get skinny. When we try to take him out to try and socialize with him, he bites and whips his tail around furiously. Is there any chance of taking him and making him know he is safe and will be taken care of? Or will he just be forever a beautiful creature to look at through the glass?
