4 week old veiled chameleon

has any1 got any tips on how to encourage our 4 week old chameleon to eat? we got him on friday and he hasnt eaten yet thnx

don't overwhelm him with to much food make sure he can see the food so just lay paper towl at the bottom of the terrerium not wood peices... also maybe get a dish and put some crickets in it so he knows where to find food just not to many running around cause that can make them a bit on the scared side...... good luck keep us posted

wow,. juvies should eat daily... it might be caused by stress.. i would leave him/her alone with a few prey items and see what happens.. if it doesn't eat by tomorrow i would explore the possibility of other options ie: getting a hold of the breeder for a refund/replacement, or seeing a vet that has some chameleon experience..


Originally i thought the thread read 4 MONTH ..at 4 weeks this could be really bad news.. did you raise the clutch? or did someone actually sell you a month old hatchling?
