Anyone in Portland/Vancouver area interested? SOmebody (that we do not know) in Vancouver, Wa (not far from Portland, OR) has listed a male veiled up for adoption (for $50) on craigslist. If it were a female we would perhaps have taken it. But we don't need another male veiled. They sent us additional photos via email (it is a very handsome turquoise looking male that looks very healthy in the photos) with this message:
"I'll be honest, I don't know the sex for complete sure. I'm a turtle nerd and I've got 49 turtles, so these veileds are just a part time hobby. I adopted this guy or gal from a lady who swore it was a female, but I'm not sure if it is a female or not because IT is always chasing my male around the cage but not the female that is also in the cage so I can't say for sure. YOu are more then welcome to come stop by and take a look. I'm in vancouver and usually always available. I've attached some more pictures, but its hard to get good pics because it is always hidding behing the plants or what not."
