Hello everyone. I just acquired a 55 gal long aquairium from a friend who was moving and didn't want it anymore. I figured I could make good use of it some how. What are some good ideas of something that could keep in there? I'm kind of stumped on what to do with it as of now. Haha thanks in advance everyone:)

You could convert that tank to a reptile enclosure.

When converted, it would be a great home for larger gecko species (leachianus), if you wanted to go for a tropical environment. I've also seen people make some really nice tree frog environments out of a larger tank like this. Or, you could make a desert environment and raise a bearded dragon.

Those are all good ideas. I personally love bearded dragons - the puppy dogs of the reptile world.:)
