I have a 7month old male veiled. How much food should I be offering and how often? I've noticed his appetite going down alot lately as i've mentioned in another thread.

At 7 months my Veil was eating 10 to 12 crickets a day and a couple of Super Meal Worms everyother day. When he lost interest in his food; I started feeding him about 18 crickets and 3 to 4 Meal Worms everyother day. After he got hungery, he showed more interest in his food.

Mines eating about 8-10 crix + mealworms now and then, about 10 hoppers a week and a waxworm every thursday...

10 Hoppers a week!! I was told that baby mice are only good to feed every once in a while... If not maybe I will get my Rat breeders going... Maybe 10 a week just sounds like a lot.

I think "hoppers" are grasshoppers.
You darn English folks gets us all mixed up.

LOL... That is funny... I was shocked when a birtish guy at a concert asked me if I had a "Fag"... I felt like a jerk when I friend told me 15 mins later he wanted a cigarette... I didn't have one of those either... But I found it funny that there is even still a language barrier between 2 english speaking countries. I guess their "hopper" makes more sense...

You lot are weird why would a mouse be called a hopper? Crazy...LOL hoppers are grasshoppers/locusts
