Here are some new pics of Zee at 8 months. He is now 6" long, still skinny. We moved his cage in front of the window and I have seen an improvement in his growth since we moved his cage not a big one but still an improvement. Even if he doen't ever get really big we will still love him here.

You can tell Zee is a 'he' by his spur.

What kind of lighting are you using? How about food and supplements? I wonder why he isn't growing very fast. They do grow in spurts sometimes... but curious if anything might be missing from the equation.

He's beautiful. I've heard lots of different theories on growth. One says natural sunlight, another states they grow quicker in UVB provided by tubes. He looks healthy to me. And he's loved. I think he's doing just fine at this growth rate. His size might just part of his genetic makeup at this age.

He was born breech and was the size of a match book when he was born. He needed help out of his egg. Short and sweet he was a runt.

His lack of barring at eight months is surprising to me.

he has some barring. He actually started showing it this past weekend more frequently.
