8mo female panther ... needs to lay eggs??

Hello! I am still pretty new here, so bare with me if I do not post all needed info or in wrong area.

I have an *almost* 8mo old female panther; happy, shy & ornery. 04/05 she weighed 42grams. Today weighs 60g. Eats roaches & silkworms daily, as much as she will eat (normally 5 large silkworms or 8 med roaches).

Friday she only ate a couple, no big deal. Yesterday she didn't eat any so I took notice. I think she needs to lay eggs. This is around the time they lay infertile eggs, yes? (she has not been bred). She is showing dark, bold color patterns and roaming her enclosure from top to bottom. Her colors and restlessness is what has my attention. She's fat, but she eats all the time. When I weighed her I tried to gently palpate her belly but didn't feel anything. She didn't like it so I didn't try for too long.

My question...
I put the laying bin in her cage, per the video I found here. How long do I leave it in her cage? If she lays the eggs and I remove them do I put the bin back in the cage? Basically, is the bin now a permanent fixture in the cage or do I just put it in there when i think she needs it?

I am hoping it is just the need for egg laying that has her upset, anything I need to look for?

Give me 3 minutes and i will post the "how to ask for help" so you guys can see if i have anything else to check for.
Thanks!

My Chameleon:
Females Nosy Be Panther. Approx 8 months. 60 grams. I have had her since Feb 2015

Handling:
As little as possible, she doesn't like anyone! Maybe on average 1x week for weight or cage/plant care.

Feeding:
She is offered silkworms (5 large) or dubia roaches (8 med) daily. I offer 1/2 the amount in the morning then depending on what is left a few more in early afternoon. Silkworms get mulberry chow. Dubias get roach chow.

Supplements:
Calcium daily to each feeding (no D3)
Calcium w/ D3 added on 1st & 15th day of month
Multi vitamins added on 5th & 20th of month

Watering:
Monsoon mister set to spray every 6 hours for 20 sec.
Little dripper filled every morning

History:
We have not had any issues, she has been fat and happy to date.

Cage type:
Custom made glass/screen combo. 24Lx24Wx30H.

Lighting:
46" Zoomed T5 repti 5.0 bulb
50w basking zoomed bulb
40w red night bulb

Temperature:
basking runs about 92 to 75 at lower part of cage. Cage drops to about 65-75 at night. I have 2 digital thermometers & hydrometer in cage

Humidity:
right before mister goes off humidity reads 45%. Right after mister riser to 65%. Too much???

Plants:
Ficus, pothos and some air plants

Placement:
Cage is in the sunroom on east wall. Fan in room, no air vents pointing at cage. Med foot traffic, but she has lots of places to hide if she feels insecure.

Location:
DFW, Texas
