A bit confused?

When I bought my Cham last weekend the guy gave me HERPTIVITE & CALCIUM with VIT D. Told me to dust crickets and worms before I feed them to my Cham. After doing some research I have found that I should only dust 3 times a week? The directions on the products say to mix them? I've been putting my Cham out in the sunlight for a few hours each day and If he's taking the VIT D that's not good for him? And I've read all chams need natural sunlight. What works best? Mixed messages all over the place:(

check out Brad Ramsey's site about supplements.

Yes it is good to have natural sunlight. If you give your guy direct sunlight without any glass or plastic blocking the light (UVB is filtered OUT when passing through glass or plastic) you won't need to use D3 as often. A cham who sees sunlight can control its D3... a cham given D3 can't 'turn it off' as you might say.

Thanks for the Brad Ramsey site:D that pretty much hits the nail on the head.
