A bit more colour to look at!

I put Marley on a pipe today that was hanging over my cupboard and he went a nice green in his cheeks with a bit of yellow so I thought I would try and snap some of him on there.
He doesn't like the camera much so he shifted himself around the pipe lol.
Sadly you can't see his colours so much in the pictures but here they are..

Tobacco ya right:rolleyes:

So really what is it? If its some kind of thing I think of then I wouldn't be posting pictures and espically not with a chameleon. I am sure they are porbably sensitive to any smoke porduct... So thats my concern..and its a bad choice to do whatever your doing.

It has never been used and it is not illegal either.... It's for flavoured tobacco...
I don't smoke tobacco near my chameleon thank you very much... nor would I have him on it if I was smoking it...Don't assume things like that :S

I don't know what the big deal is... he wanted to go on the pipe when I was moving him so I put him on there.

that pipe thing is a hookah--a water pipe used for centuries to smoke tobacco. any big city in the US will have hookah lounges where people smoke flavored tobacco out of hookahs and socialize.

so no need to play mom here on something you don't even know about skully. it's no more illegal that a pack of cigarettes and would actually be a healthier choice of smoking since the smoke is filtered through water before inhaling.

but i no longer smoke, those days are behind me

anyway, your cham is looking good friend. can't wait to see him in a few months.

Thank you ChamOh,

I can't wait to see him either :p

Yes, i agree! Every shed will bring him closer and closer to breathtaking! hehe. I didn't see any smoke in the pictures...maybe that's just me...I thought they were very creative pics, and quite appropriate for "marley". You are doing a great job, keep up the good work

how cool would it be to set up a misting system with some hooka hoses?? Like hook one end of the hose to a mister, and have the hose going through their cage to climb on, but also provide a nice mist on occasion!!

Mostly when people come to Holland and buy pipes it's just for smoking pot. Lol. when I go on holiday to other countries and say I'm from Holland people instantly ask me for marihuana. Because in Holland it's allowed to smoke. So people assume you smoke pot when you come from Holland, also most tourists only come to Holland for that. I have a pipe like you too and just use apple tobacco or tropical fruit. Just tastes better than a normal sigarette but some people instantly thing these things are used for smoking marihuana. DON'T ASSUME THINGS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! It's just water with fruit tobacco! And completly harmless to animals!

agreed. but smoking near the animals isn't the best idea and could be harmful.

Thats what my concern was. He says he would never smoke around it but he is forgetting something. There isn't just second hand smoke..there is third had smoke also. So that thing is covered with third hand smoke and the chameleon climbing on it..well that rubs on him. and whoever said its not harmful because its fruit tobacco..idk if your right but I still wouldn't let my animal be around those..and I surely wouldn't use anything like that myself

I'm just protecting the chameleon

skully, the OP made a point to say it was unused, therefore no 3rd, 4th or 25th hand smoke to worry about. i'm sure this chameleon is in good hands.
