A Few Pics From Today

I got the camera out today and went around and got a few pics of the chameleons that would co-operate with me. Usually they want nothing to do with the camera and run into the plants. They were pretty good today so I figured I would share.

The first pic is a little male Ankaramy about 4 months old. He is already showing some wicked colors. This was the first time he would fire up for me. The second is another male ank which is about 7-8 months old. My daughter named him Tico. (She is starting to name all my chameleons after Dora the Explorer characters LOL :D) The third pic is one of our Faly breeders named Raiden. Fourth is a WC ambilobe named Frost. He was just given a clean bill of health, so we can start giving him some ladies now. :p. Last but definitely not least we have Mufasa, a WC Nosy Mitsio, which has been paired up to a few ladies that came from Screameleons.

whyyyy, why man must me make me so jealous. whyyyyy. how amazing. you have all my favorite panthers: mafana, faly, and ankaramy. awesome.

Newbie here, what is the one in the second picture? Might I add they are all beautiful.:D Male ankaramy just read it.

If anything I'm jealous. These are not readily available in Canada yet. My chameleons come from the U.S. and over seas. Which takes months of wait time, permits, tracking them down, and not to forget a ton of money. I wish I could just call up a breeder and say that I need something and it be shipped to my door within a few days.

They are all gorgeous but I am in love with that Ambilobe!

I think it's amazing that you are patient enough to sit through the Canadian importing process! It is a serious pain in the ass getting plants/animals shipped here. Good luck with your breeding projects!

Awesome Chameleons Drew! They are really coming along nicely, I fall in love more and more every time I see your Falys;)

I am amazed that it takes 4-8 months for CITES to clear when chameleons are coming up from the U.S. However when coming in from Africa or Maddy it is only about 2-4 weeks.

Lovley looking chameleons.
As a fellow Canadian, I'm glad to see more breeders bringing in more locals. Im hoping someday I'll be able to get anything I like from a "local" breeder.
