A little help

Hi this is chameleonlover101 and we are just about to get a male Sunburst Veiled chameleon. I was wondering if it would be better to let the chameleon get the cricket or to feed it the cricket with tweezers.

I have always free ranged the insects. I figure it gives them a little exercise hunting them.

I do a little of both, my little man loves to hand feed. So I hand feed him a couple of his feeders, and let the rest free range in his cage, and I monitor it making sure he doesn't have any left by bed time

Depends on the age of the cham. I cup feed (attach a cup to the cage and put feeders in) my young boys with hand feeding for socialization. Make sure the cage is not too big before you free range feeders with baby /juvi chams.
