About circadian clock

Hi, everyone.
I got my "Spinach" about 5 months now. He is Veiled Chameleon and recently I noticed a that his daily routine is much regular than I expected.

My baby woke up around 8 ish am, sometime he woke up even earlier than I do. And go the sleep around 9, even I left the basking & UV lights on. I thought they only when to sleep/rest when it's dark and quiet. Apparently I was wrong.

Does this happen to anyone's chameleon?

Yes, my boys wake up and go to sleep when they are ready regardless of the lighting schedule. They are also different. I have some that sleep in later than others. And also some that go to bed much earlier than others.

Mine follow the sun, so if the sun is coming up at 6:30 then they are up at 6:30, even if my lights don't come on until 7. And again at night, they are down with the sun, not when the lights go off. So that's normal, they follow the sun if they can see natural light.
