AdCham Cricket Meal

I made that dry cricket mix today on ADCham.com

It seems popular on the forums here. Does it go stale/rotten?

I couldn't find a couple ingredients like the powerdered egg, monkey show (I subbed premium kitten chow, I read elsewhere to feed this to crickets), and algae (expensive!)

Is the mix okay nutrition wise missing a couple ingredients?

Yes, it's ok to skip out a few ingredients. I spoke to Susan James, one of the creators of that mix, and she said that she always saw the mix as a guide, not an absolute fixed recipe.
I never use the powdered egg (though I do sometimes include whole cooked eggs in my gutload) and have never used the monkey chow.
I know that Susan likes to use even more of the algae (spirulina) than what the recipe uses - I buy the spirulina capsules they sell for human consumption, and empty them into the mix. It seems to work out cheaper than buying the bulk powder (go figure).

They give a better understanding of what all the various ingredients are needed for. That way you can make better decisions about what to leave in, and what you can use as substitutes if you can't find ingredients.
