Adult Dilepis Pics?

Does anyone have any pics of their adult flap necks or have links to any? I have been searching and can't really find any. I can only find baby pics and they are so cute as babies. I didnt want to get a veiled at first but they are starting to grow on me, but I just want to see a few pics of bigger flap necks just to help me decide, I want to start to get the cage ready and I know that I need a bigger cage if I get a Veiled.

Thanks!

Deilepsis are very nice for a smaller cham. But most are wc in pet stores. If you ge a veiled it will prob be a cb. Maybe even 4th fifth gen cb. It will be far easier to keep as stated.

Attached is a picture of one my sis rescued, about to pop though, she layed her eggs days after this photo.

It's a really nice cam, awesome colors, not that the photo can show that. When they got her she had the sore on her lip, its gotten a little smaller as of last time I saw her.

yea i saw karens pics of the baby flap necks recently, makes me wish that i lived in the UK to get one, just gotta wait about 6 to 8 more weeks i think and flchams should have some ready because they are hatching now

However, in my experience, the captive-hatched dilepis I got from Mike the last time around were every bit as easy to raise as any veileds or panthers. I keep seeing posts that he's got some babies being raised now? If so, and you prefer something a little different, for sure get one of those babies. They're quite cute and hardy babies, too.

Hi,

I have also been lucky enough to get one of Karens little guys, "Wilkie" is a character :) Have you got any pics of your little man as it would be great to compare!

Matt

might be a dumb question, but the flap necks dont get horns do they? i just saw a pic that looked like a flap neck and had horns

Here are several species of commonly kept chameleons that have both occipital lobes and horns. There are others but you will not see them often in captivity, if ever.

Trioceros deremensis
Trioceros fuelleborni
Trioceros melleri
Trioceros werneri

I think what you were looking at was a Jacksons Cham (great looking guys and girls) and the horns just look so mean!

Thanks, I figured that it wasn't a flap neck but wasn't sure because it looked alot like one except with horns. I was just making sure because I really am not a fan of the horns and haven't seen many pics of adult flapnecks to make sure they don't
