Hello I have a 6 month old panther named skittles and he eats about 3 to 4 gut loaded and herpte/reptivite/calcium dusted crickets per day. Is this normal for his age? Also I cannot get him to eat wax worms but I have horn worms being shipped to me and I will try them but he only seems interested in the crickets is this normal? How can I get him to like worms? Also he drinks like a champ.

Do you have a picture of your little guy? Three to four crickets just don't seem like enought. Have you tried super worms? My panthers and veileds always like supers. I keep a variety of feeders and most like Butterworms, silks and hornworms.

If theyre large crickets im sure hes fine, doesnt seem like alot though. I have a different breed chameleon whos probablybigger than yours at 6 months but he only eats 4 or 5 every other day (but hes full grown). some eat more than others if he wont eat more then he wont eat more. as long as hes healthy i wouldnt stress it. wax worms arnt the most active worms so he may not be interested, try rolling it around with your fingers in front of him and see if he likes it. He mite go for hornworms, do the same thing try to make them move. take some pics!
