after a trip to the vet

i took my female senegal, mystique, up to the vet today to have her tongue and possible impaction problem checked out. i had asked about this before in the forum, under the thread "tongue issue", and i thought i would give everyone an update on what the vet had to say.
he said that she looks absolutely fantastic. he could not find any sign of trauma anywhere in the mouth, or anywhere else. no sign of impaction either, which i was worried about since she had been with some substrate at one point, and because she hadn't passed any stool in a while. she did happen to produce a stool sample while in the office, so he was able to check for parasites. mystique decided to present such a sample after climbing onto my head (a favorite spot of hers). the sample was then collected from my hair.
the vet tested the stool for parasites, and the tests came back negative.
his belief is that she is just calcium deficient. his remedy is supplementation with calcium glubionate. i am to give her .2 ml every other day for the next several months until the issue resolves.

Glad she has a favorite place to poop, not so much it's on your head. Hope something gets better sooonnnnn!
