Age?

Is there any way to tell an approx age by the size of my Cham? He is about 2 to 2.5 in long. This is him on my thumb. Any info would be helpful. I don't know much about him. He was given to me from someone who's partner in a business stopped taking care of him and bought him without asking any questions about him.
