Am I on the right track?

I acquired Mr. T about 5 days ago. The previous owner had some husbandry that I was not sure of. First he just dumped a lot of crickets into the VV and let Mr. T free range, so he had no idea how much Mr. T was eating. When I say a lot I mean 100 or so. Secondly he never saw Mr. T drink, well the first day I was misting with a spray bottle Mr. T came over and would drink off the spray for a good 10 minutes, so I take it he was pretty thirsty. Lastly he only had one branch for a run with one vine and a few fake leaves. Not good for movement. I since have set up 3 more branches and have put up a lot more folage, I removed all of the crickets except for about 20 that I could not catch, he will eat those before I change his feeding schedule. We will see how he takes to the new environment.

Does this sound like a sound plan? If anyone thinks anything needs changing, please let me know.

thx Diego

Do you have supplements for him? Did the pervious owner supplement? You should read the care sheet on this forum if you haven't yet.

Enclosure looks good, as long as all those branches are secured so that he can't fall.

You don't want to leave uneaten crickets in there, especially while the cham is sleeping. Crickets are nasty and will gnaw at the cham, which could cause sores and infections, and irritate the cham in the least.

Make sure you have the correct temperature and humidity levels.

Make sure you have appropriate basking spot/lamp and UVB lamp.

Make sure you're supplementing and gutloading properly.

thx guys. Mr. T (male Panther)seems to be adjusting pretty well, seems to be eating and drinking. Only thing he seems to spend a lot of time away from the basking spot and UVA lamp, more towards the bottom half of the cage? Temp right under the incandescent bulb is about 85 degrees and drops to 82 a few inches from it?
