Ambilobe setup critique

This is the new setup for my 5 month old ambilobe.

Reptibreeze XL
Reptisun H/O 5.0 tube
8 1/2 basking light some with 60 watt incandescent
Live pothos
Live umbrella
Reptivine
Natural sticks scrubbed w/10% bleach

I added some plastic plant trays to control the watering overflow and we're going to hand mist until we get a mister. We are picking up a dripper today and I'm going to add some plastic pothos on some of the high branches until my natural grows.

How low are the basking branches? They look a little low. Also I would add more plants for more coverage.

I would add plants to the sides and a little higher

We're adding some fake vines later today until the new ones grow . It's about 8-10 inches away

I would make it higher. About 7-8 inches away. What UVB do you have?

You are off to a good start, but like you have mentioned it will need much more cover and branches, and closer to the top. UVB won't be beneficial at that distance. What is your basking temp?

What is an 8.5" basking light?

That's the dome diameter, I'm trying to keep it about 95

Ambient temp and basking temp are different

Ambient temp is the temp of of the whole enclosure.

I realise, that's why I provided you with both ambient and basking temps.

For a Panther the age of yours recommended basking is 82F
