:):DYIPPEE!!!:D:) I am soooo happy! Amy took a waxworm from my hand!! :D She was sat on the vine near where the food cup is placed and I thought I'd offer her a small waxworm. She started to back away from my hand, then she saw the food and out shot her 'ickle tongue! I was so happy, it was so hard to stand still when all I wanted to do was jump up and down like a mad woman!:D I just had to share my special moment with all my cham friends!!

lol too funnt....my guy hates mt hand...lol, but once he got so exited over a silkworm he attached my finger with his tounge and managed to grab a small silk....i guess that counts

Oh thats sweet Lily, sounds like shes well on her way to being a great eater!
maybe you can have the camera ready for the next treat? Little chams look so cute with a big juicy worm in their mouth.
:)

hahah aren't they so much fun?!

My little girl shoots any anything looking like a worm.... she'll aim at my fingers as I open her cage and try to shoo them... she did once.... hurt like hell when she climbed out and tried to take a bite out of my finger!

Aw thats awesome i am working with sharma, but he is still way to shy and really wants nothing to do with my hand's so i leave it at that. Hopefully in time he will change his mind and and start hand feeding :D

its such an awesome feeling of accomplishment when your chameleon finally takes food from your hand. keep at it and it'll become much more comfortable with it. unless you have a chameleon that just straight out hates people (my first one was like that).

She's getting better every day! Since I freaked her out yesterday (see this thread https://www.chameleonforums.com/amys-first-tantrum-25674/) she has been a lot better! She took 5 locusts from my hand today, and is much more comfortable with my hands being in the cage. I think she realised that my hands are gonna be there no matter what she does! She still puffs up but soon calms down when she realises there's food involved. She hasn't tried to bite yet - suppose I've still got that joy to come, lol!

Them little veileds are fearless!:D

My new lad El Dorado will eat Pheonix's off my thumb. A real joy to see that trust at such a young age. Congratz Tiff!:)
