Andrew the Ambilobe

Hi Everyone:

About 6 or 7 years ago I had quite the little group of monsters. A veiled, 2 panthers (Maronsetra and Nosy Be), and two Comoros Island Dwarfs. I moved away for school and as such I had to sell off the little guys.

Just yesterday, my girlfriend and I decided to purchase an Ambilobe from ChromaChameleons. We are SUPER excited to get the little guy - should just be a couple of weeks before we are ready.

I thought I would just introduce everyone to Andrew - right now he is about 6.5 months. This picture was taken for us today.

Hope to get to know some of you and I look forward to keeping everyone up to date of his progress.

Cheers,

Jason

Welcome to the forum! Andrew looks rather handsome - congrats on the l'il man! You are definitely in the right place for everything chameleon (and pretty much everything else too, lol)! :D:D

Aww thanks! I actually have a question about setting up the cage / supplementation.

I have an all mesh cage, Reptisun 5.0 UVB and 75 watt heat lamp. Misting several times a day, branches to climb on and foliage to hide behind.

I guess where I am having trouble finding info /remembering is a feeding schedule (how much for a 7-month panther - what size crix) and supplementation (which I know varies between animals and keepers).

Any insight would be awesome.

Welcome!

Yes, he is looking very good! I just got my Cham today after what seemed like forever, but was really not so long! lol.... Good luck with him and keep us posted.
